Quality of Service

Professional Standards

We are committed to providing outstanding service to all our clients and we do our utmost to treat all our clients fairly.

We take the quality of our service seriously, undertake regular training, and follow the Codes of Practice and Conduct of the SRA and FMC, as well as Resolution, FMA and The Law Society.

Emma Ries and Monika Pirani are members of Resolution, Family Mediation Council and The Law Society. Emma Ries is also a member of Family Mediators Association.

Addressing Concerns and Resolving Issues Quickly

We want to give you the best possible service.

Please inform us straight away if at any point you become unhappy or concerned about the service we have provided, so we can do our best to resolve the problem quickly.

In the first instance it may be helpful to contact the person who is working on your case to discuss your concerns and we will do our best to resolve any issues.

If you would like to make a formal complaint, please see our full complaints procedure below.

Data Protection, Concerns and Complaints Procedure

When a problem arises or something goes wrong, please let us know as soon as possible. This gives us the opportunity to investigate your concerns objectively, address the issues you have raised and try to satisfy your concerns. It also helps us to improve our standards. Making a complaint will not affect how we handle your case.

It is important you are aware of what you should do if you encounter any problems with our services.  A copy of our complaints procedure and Data Protection Information and full details of who to contact can be found below.

If we cannot resolve the issues ourselves, our regulators may be able to help.

The FMC can help resolve issues about mediation work in relation to their Codes of Conduct. Resolution can help with issues about legal work in relation to their Code of Conduct.

The Legal Ombudsman can help with issues about legal work.

The SRA can help with issues about legal work if they concern behaviour, conduct or ethics.

The IOC can help with issues relating to data protection.
