How long will it take?

How long it will take depends on the issues that need to be agreed, and which method you use to reso

Mediation and Collaborative Law

A straightforward situation with a couple of issues usually takes about 3 or 4 sessions and a couple of months.

It there are more issues, or it is difficult to arrange times when everyone can meet, it can take longer.

Legal Advice

Answering a specific legal question can be done straight away by telephone or email.

Solicitor negotiation and full representation through a court process is likely to take a couple of months for a straight forward situation, but could take a year or more if the situation is complex.

Providing legal advice and support if you are representing yourself in court is likely to be an ongoing process, and can last until the court process comes to an end.
