Monika has been a specialist family and divorce lawyer since 1995, and an Accredited mediator since 2016. 

Previously a partner at leading human rights firm Christian Khan Solicitors, now a consultant, Monika has many years experience as a senior associate at law firms in central London and Canary Wharf.

 Monika's experience covers the full range of family law including complex financial matters, disputes about children, and issues with international elements.

Monika has been a family lawyer for more than 25 years. She is an accredited member of the the Family Mediation Council and has also a Resolution member; an association of lawyers, mediators and other professionals committed to a non-confrontational approach to family disputes. 

Monika is a consultant with Ries Solicitors and Mediators - family solutions. Previously a partner and Head of the Family Team at Christian Khan solicitors, a leading human rights firm, Monika has also worked as a senior associate at the central London firm Bishop & Sewell solicitors and Docklands solicitors (now Whitehead Monckton) at Canary Wharf. 

Monika was Chair of the Management Committee of the Plumstead Community Law Centre,

 Monika is the former Chair of the International Committee of the City of Westminster and Holborn Law Society. 

 She is a member of committee of the British German Jurists Association, a group of lawyers and other professionals interested in British-German legal practice. 

Monika is a bilingual German and English and is also a member of the British German Association (BGA).
